What is Medicare Supplement?
Medicare Supplement Insurance that helps fill “gaps” in Original Medicare and is sold by private companies. You may also know Medicare Supplement as Medigap as well. Original Medicare pays for much, but not all, of the cost for covered health care services and supplies. A Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) policy can help pay some of the remaining health care costs, like: Copayments, Coinsurance and Deductibles. It doesn’t, however, cover long-term care, vision or dental care, hearing aids, eyeglasses, or private-duty nursing.
Why You Need Medicare Supplement Insurance
The importance of a Medicare Supplement is to prevent gaps in coverage and out of pocket expenses that Original Medicare doesn’t pick up. Theses gaps can really add up over time. Theses are the biggest reasons to carry a Medigap plan. Please reach out to me to help educate and discuss your options.
